It was suggested that we should record the event by taking a group photograph of the merry ensemble. So I pre-planned a photo that might prove memourable. My daughter's boyfriend Ruaidhri (Rory) was Scottish and there had been many french inquisitors that day questioning him about what exactly was worn under the kilt of a scotsman. They were fascinated.
So I decided that I would stand on a chair ready to take the photo at the appropriate moment whilst my assistant children - Joe and Deborah - dragged Ruaidhri to the front and unveiled the naked truth to the frenchies. It worked out perfectly, revealing Ruaidhri's pert little bum decorated with the words 'Fabriqué en Écosse' (made in Scotland).?
